| In my most recent sculptures colours and texture come straight from my drawing, and rescind from any figuration to become mere suggestions. To me is a great surprise that figure hardly appears in my most recent sculpture, as opposed to my painting where is an essential element. The bare minimum of elements, in form, colour and texture, is very much present in my latest pieces. Ideally, these pieces should be presented as a group, where I would position the elements in a certain and specific way, as I would compose with lines or shapes on a clear sheet of paper. |
