War Building Blocks is a compendia of 26 individual plaster casts, each measuring 23 x 23 x 13cm. Each is unique and all were made trapping  in clay real toys positioned in a specific way. Enclosed inside a mould, plaster was poured over. An archeological dig of sorts happened once they were dried, carving architectural-like spaces inthe process. Each sculpture offers a unique narrative. Put together like a double wall, they seem to resemble a condo or apartment block with the front wall and windows removed. They were shown as a group in  Westminster Gallery for the first time in 2012, in a private event  in a garden in 2014 and a few were part of TROPICO CAMUFLADO, Fernandez's solo show at Museo Alejandro Otero, Caracas, Venezuela. 2013-14
